Getting Started

How do I know if you’re the right practitioner for me?

Choosing a healthcare provider is a personal decision, and I want you to feel confident that we’re the right fit. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, where we can discuss your health concerns, what you’re looking for, and how I work. If it feels right for you, we can take the next step together.

What happens in an initial consultation?

Your initial consultation (60 minutes) is a deep dive into your health. Before we meet, you’ll complete a detailed intake form and health questionnaire, where you can share your medical history, symptoms, lifestyle factors, and any recent test results. During the session, we’ll explore your health goals, discuss potential underlying causes of your symptoms, and develop a personalised treatment plan that includes nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations (if required).

Do I need to book a follow-up consultation?

Most clients benefit from ongoing follow-up sessions as lasting health improvements take time. The number of sessions needed varies for each individual, depending on the complexity of their concerns and how their body responds to the treatment plan. Follow-ups allow us to track progress, make adjustments, and ensure long-term success.

I typically recommend scheduling your first follow-up 2-4 weeks after your initial consultation, with additional sessions as needed to provide continued support and guidance. Together, we’ll create a plan that works best for you.

What if I just need quick advice?

I offer acute consultations (20 minutes) for existing clients only. These sessions are ideal if you need support for minor health concerns, such as fighting off a cold or adjusting your supplement routine. However, I cannot provide one-off acute care to new clients, as I need a full understanding of your health history before making recommendations.

Approach & Philosophy

What makes your approach different from other nutritionists & dietitians?

Not all nutritionists are the same, and it’s important to understand the difference when choosing the right practitioner for your health journey. As a Clinical Nutritionist, I have formal training in evidence-based nutritional medicine and work with clients in a clinical setting to address root-cause health concerns. Unlike general nutritionists, who may not have formal qualifications, Clinical Nutritionists have the expertise to provide personalised, therapeutic nutrition strategies to support a wide range of health conditions.

I also take a holistic, whole-body approach that differs from the traditional dietetics model, which often focuses on calorie counting and government-issued dietary guidelines. Instead of prescribing one-size-fits-all meal plans, I help clients understand why they feel the way they do and create realistic, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle strategies tailored to their individual needs.

My approach is:

- Personalised, not prescriptive – No generic diet plans; your plan is designed specifically for you.

- Realistic & sustainable – No extreme restrictions or unrealistic routines—just practical changes that fit into your life.

- Compassionate & judgment-free – A safe space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of your health.

If you’ve ever felt dismissed by mainstream health advice or struggled with restrictive meal plans that don’t work long-term, my approach offers a practical, science-backed alternative that supports your body’s unique needs.

Do you follow a specific diet philosophy?

No, I don’t promote any one-size-fits-all diet. Health isn’t about rigid meal plans or restrictions, it’s about nourishment, balance, and listening to your body. My recommendations are tailored to your individual needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

Do You Prescribe Supplements?

If needed, I may recommend supplements to support your health goals, but they are never the first or only solution. My approach is always food-first, focusing on improving your diet and addressing the underlying causes of your symptoms.

Supplements are designed to assist you while we work on long-term dietary and lifestyle changes. They are not meant to be a permanent solution but rather a short-term tool to help rebalance the body and correct deficiencies. I will always explain why a supplement is recommended, how it fits into your overall plan, and how long you may need it - so you can make an informed decision about your health.

Conditions & Areas of Support

What kinds of health concerns do you help with?

I specialise in supporting women who feel exhausted, out of balance, or dismissed by mainstream health advice. Many of my clients come to me wanting support with weight management, but what they often discover is that their fatigue, stress, hormonal imbalances, and gut health are playing a bigger role in how they feel—and in their ability to reach their health goals.

My approach looks beyond just weight loss and focuses on the root causes that affect metabolism, energy, and overall well-being, such as:

- Fatigue & burnout – Chronic tiredness, low energy, and constant exhaustion

- Hormonal imbalances – PMS, perimenopause, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction

- Digestive issues – Bloating, IBS, SIBO, gut health concerns

- Stress & nervous system regulation – Supporting adrenal function and reducing overwhelm

- Mood & mental clarity – Brain fog, anxiety, low mood, and focus issues

- Metabolism & weight concerns – Focusing on hormonal and metabolic health, rather than restrictive dieting

If weight loss or body composition changes are part of your health goals, I help you take a sustainable, hormone-friendly approach—one that supports your body instead of fighting against it.

If you’re unsure whether I can help, book a free 15-minute consultation, and we can chat about your specific concerns.

Do you work with men or children?

I focus on women’s health, but I occasionally work with men who have similar health concerns. If I feel you would be better supported by another practitioner, I’ll happily refer you to someone I trust. I do not work with young children, but I can support teenage girls with hormonal or digestive concerns.

Can you help with weight loss?

I won’t dismiss anyone’s goal of weight loss - it’s a valid and very common reason women seek support. However, rather than focusing solely on the number on the scale, I help you uncover the root causes that may be making weight management difficult, such as hormonal imbalances, stress, inflammation, gut health, and metabolism dysfunction.

When we address these underlying issues, many of my clients naturally experience positive changes in body composition, improved energy levels, and better overall well-being - without extreme dieting, restriction, or punishing exercise routines. My approach is about helping you feel better in your body while creating sustainable, long-term health improvements that go beyond weight alone.
